The Grand Canyon South Rim

Grand Canyon Sky Walk

Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon

You don’t want to miss a visit to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon for spectacular views of one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Take the trip to the Grand Canyon on the historic Grand Canyon Railway that begins with a hilarious “Wild West” show every morning, then it’s “All Aboard” and the adventure begins.  Featuring entertaining cowboy songs and light snacks during the two-hour train ride taking you to the famous El Tovar for lunch.  There’s plenty of time for photographs, shopping and authentic Indian jewelry and art is abundant at the many South Rim gift shops as well as souvenirs for those special folks back home.

The train ride back to Williams is very likely to encounter desperados and train robbers, perfect for photo memories of your exciting visit to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.

Drive to the Grand Canyon in your own vehicle, up highway 64, just an hour away and have the flexibility to stay longer and see the Grand Canyon from several vantage points along the East Rim or perhaps stop at the Grand Canyon IMAX Theater for an unforgettable, informative IMAX experience about and through the Grand Canyon.

Arizona’s most unique man-made attraction is the Grand Canyon Sky Walk Glass Bridge that juts out from the canyon wall, suspending the adventurous traveler 4,000 feet above the Grand Canyon floor.  The absolutely amazing experience of seeing the Grand Canyon from the vantage point only eagles have seen is truly breathtaking…a spectacular life-time memory maker that will never be forgotten.  A definite must see.  Grand Canyon Sky Walk

Known as the “Mother Road”, Route 66 is America’s most famous highway that stretched from the windy city of Chicago to the Santa Monica Pier in California.  The longest stretch of Route 66 in Arizona lies just a few miles west of the BEST WESTERN PLUS Inn of Williams, beginning in Seligman, Arizona and terminating just southwest of Kingman, Arizona at the California border.  Many of the historic landmarks have been restored along Route 66 including the Road Kill Café and amusing messages from vintage Burma Shave highway signs.  Take the trip and take the camera to record your adventure down America’s memory lane.
